Wynyard at Nipawin

The Battle of the Bears this year took place in Nipawin. A beautiful day for football. Hope this weather holds till Nov. Wynyard got off to a great start scoring on their opening drive. Building on the momentum they scored twice more in the first to take a commanding
20-0 first quarter lead. This momentum started to dwindle as fatique set in. Nipawin scores on a third down gamble late in the second to make score 20 -6 at halftime. Nipawin closes the gap to 20 -13 . They get a punt single late in the third to make score 20-14. Game very much on. Nipawin has momentum. Wynyard finally find their legs and key blocks sping Wynyard for their fourth TD of game to make score 26-14. The convert was no good. Nipawin's attempt to get back in the game through the air were stymied by three consecutive interceptions. Big win for the Southern Bears but how many more injuries can they withstand.? Bench is pretty thin to begin with. Excellent pizza at the VENICE HOUSE in NIPAWIN!!!!! Would like more details from other games.
