Wynyard bears want to switch to 6 man

Heard today that wynyard bears have a 99% chance of switching to 6 man football..... they will have around 13 or more grade 12s next year.... i personally do not like the decision... will have a good roster with many players, good chance they will be a hard team to beat next year... . Give the boys another year to prove what they are made of coaches.

it would be tough to lose any team in 9 man. I can see it from their perspective though why they would do it. They have the numbers to move if they can do go 6 man(their own school numbers say they can, not sure what if any co-ops they have).

Will be interesting to see what the SHSAA does with the conferences if it happens

I agree that it would suck to lose another 9 man team. But (if it does happen) maybe SHSAA can get the conferences right this time.

Dont think i would like to see the bears leave 9 man, the boys going into grade twelve next year want to finish off there last year in 9 man
